What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are a simple, non-surgical treatment designed to help smooth out and plump up the skin, injecting elasticity back into the face so that you appear younger.
What are they made of?
At Beverley House Dental Practice, we’ve partnered with Juvederm® who, like other dermal filler providers, use hyaluronic acid to help keep the skin looking younger. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance that the skin starts to produce less of as we age. It’s also a common ingredient in skin care such as serums and moisturisers.
How are dermal fillers administered?
Like wrinkle correction, dermal fillers are administered via injection. We’ll first apply a numbing agent to the area being treated so you won’t experience any discomfort.
How long does the treatment take?
This is a fast, effective treatment that should only take half an hour in the chair.
How long do the results last?
The effects of the dermal fillers should be noticeable for six to 12 months.
When will I start to notice the difference?
Some patients report noticing a difference even before leaving the practice. For most patients, however, you should be able to see the results within a few days.
